Am I ranting? I hope so. My ranting gets raves.

Hmm..
"The chorus of an old Depeche Mode song goes like this: "I don't want to start/ Any blasphemous rumours/ But I think that God's/ Got a sick sense of humour/ And when I die/ I expect to find him laughing." I have a grudging respect for this tune. In an age when God has been co-opted by mirthless sentimentalists, I appreciate any artiste who suggests there's more to the Infinite Spirit than the pinched personality described in the holy books. On the other hand, Depeche Mode's notion of the Lord is a crock too. But one thing for sure about my Supreme Being is that She has a sublimely poetic sense of humour."

MarathonMad 105
"Neil O'Maonaigh-Lennon coined the word "marathonmad." Running isn't a chore for Neil, it's a joy. He's run marathons in Chicago, Phuket, Dublin and the list goes on ..., and he's run around an entire country already ... This guy, well, he'll just keep on running, so get behind him! .... It's MarathonMad105; so do up your laces and hold on tight"
I had the pleasure of meeting Neil couple of times for dinner and drinks in Shanghai.. Great guy to know.. he's currently doing a marathonmad where he will do 105 marathons in 105 days across UK to raise awareness and money for Cancer Research.
For more info on his latest run and if you would like to contribute.. go to marathonmad105

Natures Hybrid!

" While one might think that these oddities are examples of some kind of moral breakdown in the animal kingdom, it turns out that hybridization among distinct species is not so rare. Some biologists estimate that as many as 10 percent of animal species and up to 25 percent of plant species may occasionally breed with another species. The more important issue is not whether such liaisons occasionally produce offspring, but the vitality of the hybrid and whether two species might combine to give rise to a third, distinct species."

Paranoidistan!!
It seems, Pakistan hardliners are blaming India and US for the floods in their country.
I know the media anywhere in the world will do any story that seems worth their while, but u have got to be sane about it too.. Its seems ""reports in the Pakistani media blaming India, principally, for the massive floods, purportedly because New Delhi had deliberately diverted waters from dams in Jammu and Kashmir, and from the ones it “controlled in Afghanistan”.
Some reports also charged that the US was manipulating weather patterns over Pakistan. India & US officials dismissed the idea with incredulity. “So it was the United States and India that conspired to have the monsoons come to Pakistan? I don’t find that credible,” ""
No wonder another name that's stuck to the country is “Paranoidistan” !!
